Orange Kabelano Charity Cup donates P 48 000 to Childline Botswana

Childline Botswana was honoured to receive a generous donation of Pula 48 000 from Orange Botswana. The funds were generated through the annual Kabelano Charity Cup, a one-day event that took place at the National Statium in Gaborone, Botswana on the 28th of June 2008.

This donation will help Childline to feed, dress and care for the children at the Place of Safety - facility. Childline Botswana temporarily accommodates abandoned and abused children aged 0 to 5 who have been left without parents or who needed to be removed from situations of abuse and neglect.

As Childline Botswana is an NGO and relies 100% on donor funding, we continue to rely on the generosity of the public and corporate world to sustain our services to the children of Botswana.
